«In Sardinia - said the 29-year-old driver from Gap- we expect quite a complicate rally where hot weather may cause problems to all of us. I´ll be ready to play all my cards because after my false step in Greece, my first objective is to do my best and regain ground at once. During the pre-rally tests in Sardinia, round about Oristano area, everything went all right , the road conditions were similar to those we´ll be facing upon the specials, and I felt like I made a pretty good job; sure we´ll be strong and fast during the contest: a two days competition this year with a compact track of hard and difficult stages for all of us.
We´ll have the Tergu-Osilo special stage again and that´s where I marked the scratch behind the wheel of the Skoda Fabia Super 2000 last year. It was a genuine surprise for me too and I gather that our tyres were more resistant to wear than the others´. I´m sure I´ll be even better now at the wheel of a VW Polo R Wrc over such a quick stage and with so much grip. I´m bound to tackle this competition in Sardinia with all my energy with the aim to make my best course and no doubt willing to fight for glory and win this hard rally».
